Re: Cindy Price Daycare Referral
Cindy’s Daycare is such an amazing place for kids to learn and grow. Cindy Price is quite possibly the best person to come into my family’s life! I was elated to enroll my son, Josh, with Cindy in 2012, as I had heard so many good things about her home daycare center. My son, who was almost 2 at the time of enrollment, had a diagnosed speech delay and was also a little shy. With Cindy’s small group he was given the attention and encouragement that he needed. Josh flourished while he was with Cindy. He came out of his shell, his vocabulary flourished, and, for a 2 year old, he had a heck of a pen grip. Josh learned and absorbed so much with Cindy and made very good friends.
Her home center is well suited for the children and she provides a safe, loving environment for them. Not to mention her home-cooked lunches! My son has never been open to a variety of food for me at home, but eats so many different things with Cindy.
Cindy has been such an important part of my family’s life for over a year and a half. Josh has thrived and grown to be a well mannered, verbal, intelligent little boy. The only reason we are leaving Cindy’s Daycare is that we are moving to Boston. I’m going to miss her terribly! My son will too! I will gladly answer any questions you may have as a perspective family. =)

My daughter, Miriam has been at Cindy’s Home Daycare for one year. I am grateful for every day that my daughter has spent with Cindy. Miriam loved coming to “Miss Cindy’s School”. When I asked my preschooler what she likes about her day she answered:
*** “I like to eat!” (Interpretation: Cindy provides delicious and nutritious meals and snacks!)
*** “I had a nice day with Cindy.” (Interpretation: With years of experience, Cindy provides consistent rules and routines; allowing the kids in her care to thrive.)
*** “I played with toys.” (Interpretation: Cindy has set up a stimulating, comfortable environment with creative activities and crafts. She also regularly includes appropriate and varied preschool academics for her “older kids”.)
I would highly recommend Cindy to anyone. She truly loves the children in her care, and provides a nurturing environment for them. This is what sets her daycare apart from others. Cindy’s Home Daycare is an exceptional place- I would highly recommend it to anyone!
Dear Cindy,
The first day I dropped Alayna off too you ,I could not have imagined how hard this goodbye would be. I hired you to be her daycare provider. I expected that you would keep her safe, and teach her things like her colors, the alphabet, and how to share. At the time ,I didn't realize just how much more then that you would teach her. I didn't realize that you would become a second mother to her, and a friend to me.
I am so proud of the little girl Alayna is becoming and much of that is owed to you and your consistency and guidance. They say children learn more in their first five years than they do in an entire lifetime - thank you for your immeasurable positive influence on those formative years.
You have taught Alayna the importance of respect, patience, empathy, and determination. You have taught her how to be a good friend, and a team player. You have taught her that life sometimes isn't fair, and you have taught her how to graciously deal with that fact. with the loving environment you created, you have always made Alayna feel safe, smart and brave.
Above all else, you have treated my daughter like one of your own, proud of her accomplishments in the same wayI am, and wanting her to become the best person she can, just as I do.
Now it is time for us to move on and for good reason. Alayna is off to kindergarten and is as ready as she will ever be, thanks to you. I feel so fortunate that we found you. You truly have been the best daycare provider, teacher, and second motherto my child and for that I am eternally grateful.
With appreciation,
Erin Kiriungi

To Whom It May Concern,
I have known Cindy Price for approximately 20 years. For almost four of those years, from August 2005 to the 2009, Cindy was the daycare provider for my two children. Cindy provides a safe, loving, nurturing and educational environment. She also teaches children in her care the rules and tools necessary to socialize with other children and adults.
Cindy genuinely loves each child in her care and constantly attends to that child’s various needs, from cooking nutritionally balanced meals to “potty” training. Indeed, Cindy has given me many of her recipes at my children’s request, because, as they tell me, “Cindy is a better cook than you, Mommy.” Also, Cindy has a month-to-month curriculum with the children, during which they learn various colors, numbers, letters and occupations. As a result, my daughter Morgan started kindergarten being able to identify every letter of the alphabet, and being able to write her name.
Cindy also teaches the children how to respect adults and each other. When the children argue, Cindy teaches them how to make amends and how to apologize to each other. Also, the children clearly respect her rules, which are fairly applied to all of them equally. Indeed, my children feel sibling affection toward each of the children that they spent time with at Cindy’s.
In sum, I wholeheartedly recommend Cindy’s Daycare to anyone who wants a wonderful and safe learning environment for his or her child. If you have any further questions about Cindy’s qualifications, please do not hesitate to contact me at 508-753-7369.
Sincerely,
Anne Kennedy
